Remembering back to my childhood nothing said Christmas more than mums homegrown christmas lillies. I’d walk into the house after school and straight away I knew mum had harvested her first lillies for the season the house smelt amazing, they were simply divine.
Whilst sadly our family stocks of these bulbs has diminished over the years my love of the Christmas lilly has not. They may not have the same magical scent that mums had but they still bring me back to those memories.
At this time of year I always have lillies in a vase somewhere in the house, whats always in your vase for the festive season? If its not the lilly give them a go we are sure you’ll fall in love with them as much as we have.
