Market specials for Thursday the 6th of November
November 7 2008This weeks market saw the arrival of the peonies in large numbers. For the lover of the peonie, you must get down to the shop this week, as we have bought plenty to keep the prices right down to only $12.50 per bunch. For those that have not encountered the peonie, it is well worth the money to put a bunch of these in your vase at home and watch them transform into a beautiful display. 1 bunch in a medium vase will really be an eye catcher. At $12.50 per bunch there will be no better value in Ballarat.
Again this week we have been able to get our hands on some magnificent Asiatic lilies. The quality is simply outstanding, and because I went somewhat crazy and bought twently buckets, we have been able to extend our advertised special, for $7.99 or buy 3 bunches for just $20. Pop these in the vase at home or at this price give 2 bunches as a gift and take one home for yourself. Simply wrapped in brown paper, you can be sure the recipient will love them.
The waratahs are slowing up now, so if you desperately need some, you will have to order quick. These have once again been magnificent this year, but are only available for such a short period.
The King Proteas around at the moment are the best i’ve seen. Come into stems this week and have a look at these massive blooms, and at 3 for $15.00 they are sure to be moving out the door.
If you are into the strange and exotic, we have the largest birds of paradise’ that I have seen. I was only able to get 40 stems, so be sure to get into Stems for the largest and most brilliant ‘birds’ in Ballarat.
