Market Report 18th December 2008

Christmas was the theme once again this week at the Market, with Christmas lilies in high demand along with anything red and white.  The Tall Christmas lilies are quite stunning, and are a very reasonable price at 2 for $25.00.  The short Christmas lilies are also available once again, and offer great buying at 2 bunches for $15.00.

Poinsettias are always popular at this time of year and offer a great option for a gift, nicely wrapped in your choice of coloured paper for only $15.00

Other Christmas favourites in stock at Stems are bunches of holly, the beautiful red berried hypericum, the red and white carnations, grown at our farm in Ballarat, along with the Christmas arrangements, that we are offering on our website.

Red roses are very hard to get a hold of at the moment because they are being cut back for valentines production, however our purchasing guru Richard has been able to secure some beautiful Red Adrenalin Roses.  Only very limited stock, so if it is red roses that you require you must get into Stems quickly….

Christmas trees are still being sold by the dozen so it is not too late.  Stock is available at the front of the shop so pull the vehicle into the loading zone in front of the shop, and we will help you squeeze the tree in to your car.

Still great prices on the asiatics this week.  $4.99 per bunch is unbeatable value.
