Market specials Thursday 5th Feb
February 5 2009Today’s flower market was brimming with variety and colour.
The first sedum bunches appeared from The Tulip garden nursery today. These old fashioned favourites are long lasting and start their flowering season in a green colour and move to the red autumn tones over the next 10 weeks. They make an excellent bunch of flowers on their own or a great addition to a bouquet.
The extremely hot weather around Ballarat has virtually dried up all of our local foliage supplies and rendered them second grade and there for unsaleable. So we are sourcing through Monvale foliages some excellent New South Wales foliages. They include Viburnum, Aniseed bush and Gardenia foliage. This new supply arrangement will ensure only premium foliages are being used from now and including the special day of Valentines day (only 9 days away!!!) on the Saturday the 14th Feb. We are open 24 hours that day so i’m sure lots of coffees will be consumed!!!!
Other fantastic in-store products that we have sourced include some sensational potted Begonias, potted Oriental lillies, potted Gerberas that are full of flowers, locally grown bombay celosia and some very pretty Asters.
Overall the store is brimming with a huge range of products and all are of excellent quality. So give us a call or drop in and have a look.
