July 9 2009Today’s market was cold!! Colder in Melbourne than here in Ballarat there’s a world first!!!
Flower quality was excellent today. As it is the middle of winter Iris and Tulips are in full production. these winter favourites add colour to any home or office and are extremely good value. We are able to supply extra large Iris at only $9.99 per bunch and tulips at $15 per bunch or two for $25. Our Tulips are grown by TNB tulips which are situated in the Dandenong rangers check out their website www.tnbtulips.com.au and see the amazing range of colours these winter wonders come in.
Violets are in peak quality at the moment and are the perfect little something gift for any occasion.
Also of great quality and bueaty at the moment is the native blushing bride in either pink or white. These short bunches of petite and dainty flowers are very unique and are well worth checking out.
Darren at Grandiflora has given us a little treat for our Rose lovers with a small supply of the very popular Lollypop rose “Fiesta” in 70cm bunches this never lasts long in store so be quick!!!
Overall greenhouse grown flowers continue to be in shorter supply due to the cold winter conditions. So stick to the season and stock up on the winter wonders available today.
